Reflections - Within You And Me by Aeishwarya - Book Review
"The beauty of hope is so
ecstatic
Even though it's prone to be
enigmatic
The joy it engulfs is exuberant
Subtle, sober, and so very
different"
With
these lines, the poet instills your faith, makes you realize that you shall
soon be blessed. We often find ourselves at crossroads and want to give up
thinking that nothing good can ever come out of it. The beauty lies in not
losing heart; the longing, craving, positivity, and endearment keeps you
entrusted.
Reflections
- Within You And Me is Aeishwarya's first book, and she has made her debut with
a collection of poems, a genre that's very close to her heart. She has done an
outstanding job of expressing her feelings elegantly through poetry in her area
of interest, i.e., human sentiments.
The
language is simple, lucid, and hooks you right from the start to the end. The
poet's writing style of prose with couplets gets you in the poetical cadence.
And the end of each poem is with repetition, that's just the cherry on the cake
you need for a blissful experience. It's astonishing how the poet has
effortlessly and comprehensively described each perspective to the minutest
feelings.
Her
poems include subjects ranging from self-love, couple's relationship,
mother-son relationship, womanhood, life, love at first sight, anxiety,
separation, and marriage. Each of her poems is unique, and never once do you
find it repetitive. I Mean It For You, A Woman From The Bottom Of Her Heart,
She, The Commotion In My Mind, and Gone Are Those Days are some of my favorite
ones.
I
would recommend this book to everyone out there, especially those who don't
like poems. Couples in a relationship are sure to get inspired and write a few
lines for their better half as well. It's a short and sweet book which you will
feel like reading in one go.
Thanks,
Aeishwarya, for making such insightful poems, looking forward to more books
from you.
