'The more you think of your pain, the more it hurts." Book: Strangers She Never Met Author: Indranil Roy Publisher: Invincible Publishers Genre: Crime Thriller Format: Kindle My Rating: 4.2 / 5 ⭐ My Review: 〰 I so wish this novel had never arrived at an end. Even after reading the whole book doubly, I really couldn't get enough of the account. An action-packed thriller that's addictive due to all the extraordinary events the actors go by. The narrative has you interested & entertained immediately from its very beginning. Though the episodes following about the primary actors are so unusual, all continue to grow & hold the readers in a grasp. The message that the writer attempts to communicate is relevant & practical. It's a gripping page-turner & a must-read for all crime-thriller fans. 〰  Though the plot spins about terrorism & the investigation, it additionally involves its outcomes on the characters connected & how much people ought

Sita: Warrior of Mithila by Amish Tripathi - Book Review

Image
"You will need to be mature and pragmatic. You must use your heart to decide the destination, but use your head to plot the journey." Book: Sita - Warrior of Mithila (Ram Chandra #2) Author: Amish Tripathi Publisher: Westland Press Format: Physical Book Genre: Mythology My Rating: 3.9 / 5 🌟 My Review: Do you expect the terms like India, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, etc., to be used by mythological figures in their conversation? The point that those stories occurred some 7000 years ago, I question how Amish could perform such implications in a casual dialogue among the actors. I would have agreed if he presented it as a hint for the readers to co-relate the sites, one of those times to that of today, but it wasn't, and it got me unhappy. Growing up, I am convinced all Indians remember Sita's tale either by seeing or hearing Ramayana on television or from our parents. Amish's take on Sita provides a more practical take on how human she was and like one of us. To decip

Overland by Ramcy Diek - Book Review

Image
Book: Overland Author: Ramcy Diek My Rating: 4.2 / 5 🌟 My Review: Trigger Alert: physical exploitation, child abuse, brutality. What a fabulous nail-biting suspense thriller by Ramcy! I really couldn't have my eyes off the narrative even for a second. She gives her audience to perceive the precise moods that the heroine Skyla passes through. I am sure this one is someday gonna be turned into a blockbuster film. This book has the potential to have you involved even if you are not reading it. Believe me, it took me a few days to let the novel wear off of me. This novel is all-around hate, desire, rage, and passion. The only point I didn't actually get is why it's termed as a romantic suspense book. The romantic side simply helped the account deliver a genuine quality; but, there wasn't enough love. Additionally, the end appeared to be quite abrupt. I liked the book's cover; you get what it implies once you complete the narrative. Nevertheless, the blurb could have

Five Get Into Trouble (The Famous Five #8) by Enid Blyton - Book Review

Image
MYSTERY / ADVENTURE FIVE GET INTO TROUBLE (THE FAMOUS FIVE #8) My Rating: 3.9 / 5 ⭐ As a teen, Enid Blyton's works are clearly your go-to books if you desire to while away your time. Sadly for me, I was never serious about reading then & chose reading as a hobby while at university. So recently, at a book exhibition, when I got an opportunity to buy one of Enid's novels, I was elated. I really couldn't help myself with not purchasing it. Experience this novel without reasoning as to whatever will fit wherever. I got the illustrated version & I must say the pictures assist in building a graphic plot to further savor the book. Children/adolescents are surely gonna like this one more than the mere textual production one. The overall novel-writing form is eloquent & the plot unusual. Though I began with #8 in the series, other than the five's connection, I didn't truly miss anything from the earlier ones. The events at the commencement for the five kids to c
