Book: Airway Is Life Author: Meghna Dassani Genre: Self-Help, Non - Fiction Format: Kindle My Rating: 4.5 / 5 ⭐ My Review: Sleep, a task that we all take for granted these days. Amidst the enormous workload & alarming competition in all occupations, we prefer letting go of our nap times & try to sweat harder to deliver nothing but perfection. At the end of the day, while we are tired, we accuse all the exhaustion, stress, frustrations on our treasured people & hinder the peace of our private lives. When some time ago, one of my dear people was fretting about loss of sleep, I was advised to glance at the book Airway is Life. From this work, I realized that a sleep crisis is something several people are experiencing. I never believed that it could really exist. Happy that I could get a lot of information on sleep complications & obtain insight to assist those I know. The book's name is so apt to its crux. The blurb places so perfectly what to anticipate. It is re

Book:  It Ends With A Dream: The Farther You Go, The Closer We Get Author: Medha Nagur Genre: Contemporary Romance, Fiction Format: Kindle No. of Pages: 187 My Rating: 4.1 / 5 ⭐ My Review: How vital are jobs, individual ambitions & goals when it comes to relations? Do we actually ought to pick one over the other, or can there be an equilibrium kept in professional & private lives? The author has discussed a really influential theme, wherein in today's life, personal associations are catching a rear seat while delivering on our professional growth. As the name implies, the novel orbits around the goals of two main characters, Yadnya & Yashika & their complex connections with themselves & their parents. The narrative follows a timeline, now & then, intricately revealing every moment of their lives. The complexity of their experiences, their views on perceiving everything differently & yet seeking to be with each other make the story really beautiful. I rea

Book: Linger, When You're Gone Author: Chitra Padmana Genre: Romance, Suspense, Thriller, Fiction Format: Kindle No. of Pages: 180 My Rating: 4.4 / 5 ⭐ My Review: Have you ever wondered how you would be if one of your senses were intensified? Would you still be like you are now, or would it imply that everything is modified & your life is altered? Those were my questions while reading the novel. I had never anticipated such an unusual tale could perhaps be created. The author's meticulous investigation & composing skill is very praiseworthy. The book's cover is beautiful & one can indeed see this specific picture display in one of the scenes. It's the blurb & the book's title that immediately had me choose it. Narrated from the POV of Miris, our female lead, the book is an excellent amalgamation of love, suspense & thriller. Directly from the Prologue, it has one's interest. It's so rare that I see an enjoyable combination in the pa

Pop Flies, Robo-Pets, and Other Disasters by Suzanne Kamata - Audiobook Review

Image
Book: Pop Flies, Robo-Pets, and Other Disasters Author: Suzanne Kamata Format: NetGalley My Rating : 4.1 / 5 ⭐ I know many of you love listening to audiobooks & consider it one of the modes for relaxation. Some think Audiobooks don't really fall under reading books since you aren't really PHYSICALLY READING them. And then there are those like me, who find pleasure in not just listening but also reading the book physically, simultaneously. I have never read/listened to a novel based in Japan; never saw even a single baseball match; been a long time since I read/listened to a middle-grade work & listened to an audiobook. This one appeared to be an ideal pick to tick several of the boxes in my checklist. Let me assure you to not get tricked by the book's genre. It has its readers hooked, not only the children but grown-ups too. For readers who have been to many nations, all would notice that it is relatable to them. Two diverse experiences of the USA & Japan are

Dwandv:: The Battle For The Gate by Dinkar Goswami - Book Review

Book - Dwandv:: The Battle For The Gate Author - Dinkar Goswami Publisher - Brand Inspire (OPC) Pvt. Ltd Genre - Mythological Fiction Format - Kindle My Rating - 4.2 / 5 ⭐ My Review: Siddhi should only be used when it can be contained & never to satisfy one's ego. The novel commences with the importance of 'Siddhi' by achieving a 'Vital Knowledge' presented by Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva, who dwelled on Earth, was deemed to be the place to hold the Vital Knowledge, which led to the Asuras moving to Earth. A cosmic war, termed as the Great War, was encountered between Devas & Asuras to possess the most powerful thing to achieve eternity. Dwandv comes under the mythological fiction genre & is one of my preferred styles; the cherry on the cake is that the plot has a female lead. Oh & the book cover, so stunningly elegant! The author's creativity level in the book is unquestionably at its peak. The writer has performed a thorough investigation on Yo

Thank You, Richa by Rima Sen - Book Review

Book: Thank You, Richa Author: Rima Sen Genre: Romance Fiction Format: Kindle My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ / 5 My Review: Thank You, Richa, book with a unique title & a storyline that's precise to my liking. The novel is narrated from Kadhir Permual's POV, in which he shares his one-sided love with Richa Roy. Beginning the account from the existing situation & moving to the flashback, the novel includes all the emotions that a guy passes through right from youth to his present age. I enjoyed the tale so enormously that I gobbled it up in a couple of sessions. Unrequited love causes a person to go through different emotions like envy, possessiveness, passion, desire, hatred & anxiety. Every mood is described quite accurately, which gives it a highly visual appearance. The vocabulary employed is so uncomplicated & the conversations uplift it by making it extra realistic. I especially enjoyed the fact that the author has kept the book pretty simple & let the character

Gone are the days when people worked with a pen & paper to jot down their ideas, publish them & later broadcast via the newspapers. Now, if a business ain't part of the digital world, then it's difficult to accept that it really survives. Add to it, in today's Covid events, digital communications have seen

The Ignorance of Knowers (Little Lantern, Deep Darkness, #3) by Sakiv Koch - Book Review

Book: The Ignorance of Knowers (Little Lantern, Deep Darkness, #3) Author: Sakiv Koch Genre: Fiction Format: NetGalley My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Review: The last volume of the trilogy, The Ignorance Of Knowers, really got my breath away. Following numerous difficulties that Smastrus Anand had to go over in Books 1 & 2, I sighed in relief while reading Book 3. The novel is so full of positivity & joy that you can't help not observing these vibes encompassing you as well. This is clearly my preferred title in the trilogy. Like in all his earlier works, Sakiv has penned this novel so artistically. It describes in such detail, every event, sentiment & move seems like it is all transpiring in front of our eyes. Beginning from the very first episode, I was immersed. Every role had its own tale to say; but, the connection being the hero & his POV got the account more natural to understand. This trilogy encourages us to know that no matter how big the difficulty, our enduranc
