The Gullibility of Demons (Little Lantern, Deep Darkness #2) by Sakiv Koch - Book Review

Book: The Gullibility of Demons (Little Lantern, Deep Darkness #2)

Author: Sakiv Koch

Format: Netgalley PDF

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ / 5

My Review:

The Gullibility of Demons is Sakiv's second book in his three-book set. This novel is extra adventuresome than his earlier one, has a higher dynamic design & the course of situations, graphic. The story of the lead, Smast, is abundant with disasters, but amidst these difficulties, there are unusually enjoyable, heart-touching, rendezvous consequences. This volume concludes in a cliff-hanger & I can't wait to begin the last part of the series.

The novel picks from where the last installment finished, Smast being driven off to Devgarh following his unfavorable act of puking on Sona & getting hit by the chauffeur & Bhushan Singh. Once in Devgarh, his world shifts from bad to more dangerous & he has to run apart from that place to protect his life. He enters the nearby village all torn & tattered, gets saved by an old woman & falls in love with the palace's princess. Whatever follows next transforms his life totally upside down & is surprisingly really exciting.

The writer has carefully designed the perfect set up with all the various ventures at precise interludes, showing the readers never to rest. The overall narrative is medium-paced, with the escapades stirring it up a bit. Several actors still perform a part in this piece besides some new additions. This novel is an impeccable soulful set.

This work is escape fiction with a truly different story. The complete account is so lifelike & vivid, one can really visualize all the commotions. I especially loved the author's many symbolic analogies getting one to pause, think & re-read it amid the adventurous movements. Some grammatical mistakes are present that can unquestionably be taken care of in the following version.

Overall, a definite recommendation to all fiction fans, all readers are in for a roller-coaster trip.
